Black Friday Now Longer at Walmart
The world's largest tradesman says day-after-Thanksgiving sales will begin during 5 a.m. Nov. 27, but many U.S. stores will be open 24 hours to forestall a mad dash. The announcement doesn't affect many of Wal-Mart's Supercenters, that are already open 24 hours. Federal reserve regulators cited Wal-Mart for unsound throng government after a Nov. 28, 2008, death of a proxy employee during a Long Island, N.Y., store. A throng of shoppers broke down a store's doors, trapping a employee, who died of asphyxiation. .
